Η αναζήτηση στο ΙΑ-ΨΒ του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας μπορεί να πραγματοποιηθεί στο σύνολο του υλικού που φιλοξενείται ή σε συγκεκριμένη Κοινότητα/ Υπο-κοινότητα/Συλλογή.

Το ΙΑ-ΨΒ αναζητά τον όρο/ τους όρους που έχει εισάγει ο χρήστης στα πεδία του τίτλου, της περίληψης, των λέξεων κλειδιών και του πλήρους κειμένου. Στην περιπτωση που ο χρήστης επιθυμεί, η αναζήτηση περιορίζεται σε συγκεκριμένο πεδίο. Αναλυτικές οδηγίες στις επόμενες ενότητες.
